Andy Bourne is a freelance illustrator, designer and animator based in the vibrant city of Bristol, UK.
Originally from the midlands, he has spent the best part of a decade as an in-house illustrator in the graphic design industry and has worked for an impressive portfolio of clients across an array of briefs and in a multitude of styles.
Having worked at prestigious studios that include the multi-award winning ILOVEDUST and Sunhouse, Andy is no stranger to the pressures of the industry. This experience has given him a creative edge and he is able to effectively deliver quality work that is tailored to individual client needs while working to stringent deadlines.
Outside of this, he often works on editorials for various magazines, and has also worked in the music industry, for bands such as IDLES, creating the logotype for their chart topping 2020 album ULTRA MONO.
Inspired by vintage comics and the likes of Dan Clowes and Charles Burns, his house style could be described as vivid and surreal with a pleasant touch of irreverence. When given creative freedom, clients can expect to be treated with tantalising, frenetic designs that warm the cockles of the soul.
Along the way Andy has worked with clients such as: Nike, Red Bull, Subaru, Guinness, Sony & Kiehl’s.
